The Palmer Ensemble will be running another children’s concert at St George’s church on Wednesday 6th July. 
It s a Solo Cello performance beginning at 10:30am and tickets are available on the door for £7.
Palmer Ensemble runs a baby and toddler concerts series in Goring and Newbury.  The aim is allow the very young the opportunity to experience live classical music in a safe and friendly way.  Little ones and their carers are free to move around and it allows like minded carers the opportunity to make new friends.

Summer Club for Adults

Calling all adults: Creation is coming your way!
Why not join us throughout August for 5 afternoons of activities?
On the afternoons of 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th & 31st August from 2-4pm at St George’s Church, Newbury
We hope to offer some of the following crafts and activities:  
Singing, hand-bell ringing, easy hand sewing, picture journaling, flower arranging, circle dancing, beginners yoga, poetry, play readings, no hassle cookery, jigsaw puzzles, mindfulness colouring, beer tasting  – to name but a few!
Cream teas will be served at the end of each afternoon 
You might simply like to join us for a chat and some company – please feel very welcome.

Equity of Voice, Dementia Awareness Week,  20th May

Join us for a collective community event organised by Revd Terry Winrow of St George’s Church, Newbury, Waheeda Soomro of All2gether, and Kamal Bahia of Newbury & District Clinical Commissioning Group.
We are proud to present a collaborative community event “Equity of Voice”, a creative mix of music, dance and drama across the cultures to entertain and inform on an issue we all share in our common humanity. The purpose is to raise community awareness and change our perception and attitudes to those living with dementia.
‘Equity of Voice’ will take place on Wednesday 20th May from 19:00-20:30 at St George’s Church, Andover Road, Newbury RG14 6NU.
