I’m delighted to announce that it is all systems go for Phase Two and work will begin on Monday 1st October 2012.

The work will take 6 – 8 weeks and during that time all access to the church will be via the annex door on the south side of the church and much of the north car park will be fenced off.

During late October / early November there will be scaffolding in the church within the two transept areas. This is purely a safety precaution for the builders working in the transept roof void; we will still have full access and use of the transepts.

Just a reminder that there are four elements to Phase Two:
–        Insulation of the north and south transept ceilings;
–        North side external ground works (inc. disabled access);
–        Glazing and modification to the cloister and north entrance; and
–        Replacing guttering to the north transept and cloister.

Yet again very grateful thanks to Project Management Group for all their hard work and to all who have contributed in many ways to the Renewable Energy Project.
