Is your community group looking for a meeting venue?  Then why not consider hiring St George’s?

St George’s has recently been completely re-vamped, with a new ceiling, new floor, draught-proofing and a carbon neutral heating system, future-proofed for generations to come.  We also have a beautiful new meeting room in the north transept.   The church is a light, bright, warm and welcoming space which lends itself to a host of community events.   If you are looking for a venue for your community group, look no further than St George’s!

I help run the local Parkinsons Branch in Newbury called “The Sparkies” and we are looking for a Meeting Room one evening per month, every 4th Wednesday, from 7-00pm to about 9-30pm, numbers vary from 25 to 40. We are a Charity and do not have a huge budget but need a new venue as our current one is too noisy. Please let me know costs etc, refreshment availability and wheel chair access. We tend to layout the room with 3-4 chairs per table. Do you have A/V facility? Thank you, Peter Sidell.

    Hi Peter,
Thanks for your enquiry. Please contact the church office on 01635 41249 (next week would be best as the parish administrator is on leave this week) to ask about booking rooms at St George’s. Or if you would like an answer sooner, could you email communications@st-george-newbury.org.uk and I will forward your email onto someone who can help.
