New!! Defibrillator Point at St George’s

Article posted on 11 April 2017 Leave a Comment

St George’s has recently installed a defibrillator at St George’s Centre.   We very much hope there will be no use for it, but if needed, it is there for use by the local community. Its located in the porch of the The Centre, to the left of the double doors, where it is accessible 24/7.

Following the example of St John’s, who had a defibrillator installed on their site last year, St George’s and the charity ‘Heart Start Thatcham’ have provided the defibrillator for the benefit of the wider community.  St George’s will be offering short courses on when and how to use a defibrillator in due time, and if anyone locally is interested in taking a course, please register your interest with the church office.
