Community Christmas Notices…
Would you consider helping out at any of the following initiatives going on in Newbury this Christmas?
West Berkshire Homeless. From 1st December until 28th February 2018 the Salvation Army Hall will be open to the homeless, and will provide 13 beds. 150 volunteers are needed in three shifts, and they are looking for donations to help employ a paid leader. The shifts are morning from 06.00 – 08.00; evening from 19.30 – 22.15; night from 22.00 – 06.15. Drivers are also needed. For more details, or to sign up to volunteer, please see notice on the table at the back of the Church.
CTNA Christmas shop at The Kennet Centre – ‘Wrapped with love’ – Open Monday, 18th – 23rd December from 10.00 until 17.00. Volunteers are needed to cover morning or afternoon slots, and to help set up (16th December) and clear away from 17.00 on 23rd December. Please contact Marina Abraham at marikay77@yahoo.co.uk to book a morning or afternoon slot.

Hospital Chaplaincy Volunteers. The Chaplaincy Team at West Berks Community Hospital are in need of a few more volunteers to help with the Sunday Service. If you are interested, then please talk to Revd. Becky, who has more details.
