Mothers’ Union Meeting, Tuesday, 5th February at 14.00 in the Large Meeting Room.  Annual Branch Meeting and Bring and Buy.  All welcome.

Electoral Roll (ER) rewrite – Every Church in the country has an Electoral Roll (rather like the Council’s Electoral Roll, which allows you to vote in elections, amongst other things).  The Church’s Electoral Roll has to be drawn up from scratch every six years, which happens to be this year.  To be on the ER you need to be over the age of 16 and have been baptised.  Being on the ER allows you to vote at APCMs and be elected to the PCC.  There will be application forms at the back of the Church for the next few weeks, and I will have them at coffee after the 09.30 service, from this Sunday onwards.  The ER is required to be displayed in Church for two weeks prior to the APCM in April, (no personal details will be shown) and so forms need to returned to me by Friday 15th March.  If you have any questions, then please do speak to me, Margaret Blaine, Electoral Roll Officer.

Additional Contact Details – Telephone number and e-mail address will also be asked for, only for use by the Church Office, and not published.  We need your permission to hold this information. Any questions, then please speak to me, Revd Becky.

PATHWAYS, the new Diocesan magazine (which replaces ‘The Door’) is now available.  Pick up your free copy at the back of Church.

Women’s World Day of Prayer, Friday, 1st March at 10.30 in St John’s Church.  A Service for Everyone.  Praying for Slovenia.

St Georges Moveable Feast – Saturday, 16th March.  Please pick up a form from the back of the Church, or speak to Sarah Pook or Catriona Moffatt for more details.  Completed forms must be back by Sunday, 3rd March.

All are encouraged to attend the St George’s ANNUAL CHURCH MEETING on Tuesday, 2nd April.  Drinks and nibbles will be served in the Hall from 19.30 with the meeting beginning at 20.00 prompt. A great opportunity to give thanks for the past year, to elect church officers and PCC members, and to share plans for the year ahead.  Do please come.
