At the West Berks Foodbank we have vacancies for a Foodbank Centres Manager (for approximately 12 hours per week) and more Lead Volunteers for our Newbury Foodbank Centre (managing this for one afternoon per fortnight).  For more details please contact Sarah Bennet by e-mail at info@westberks.foodbank.org.uk

Christians Together in the Newbury Area (CTNA) is once again running a free Christmas wrapping service in the Kennet Centre.  Can you offer an hour or two sometime between 7th and 17th December to help wrap the gifts that members of the public bring in to us?  There are other tasks too – people to welcome at the door, and to help with setting it all up.  At the weekends we are offering a children’s wrapping service where they bring in their gifts, and we will help them to wrap the gifts themselves, so we need people who are happy to work with children.  This is a wonderful chance to show practical and generous love to our town in the name of Jesus.  It is also a lot of fun!  If you are interested, then please contact Carolyn Bramhall  carolynbramhall01@gmail.com

Christmas is fast approaching! Volunteers required for the Community Christmas Day Lunch and preparations at St George’s Church.  If you have a few hours to spare, then please contact Marina Abrahaml marinaoabraham@gmail.com for more information.
