Presentation on Final Phase Options

Presentation on Sunday 28 October 2012

St Georges Final Phase Presentation SD

Update – Tuesday 20th November

In line with the close to unanimous consensus of opinion across the Church community St George’s PCC voted unanimously for the third heating option of Ground Source Heat Pump with under floor heating for our REP Final Phase. Project Management Group and our Funding Manager now have the mandate to progress with technical work and the sourcing of external funding.  The journey towards a warm, welcoming, carbon neutral church continues…

You are of course still also very welcome to leave questions and comments below – ‘Leave your response!’

Thank you for spending the time to listen to the presentation and to be a part of the discernment process!

As ever, please keep the project, and PMG, in your prayers.

…and a big thank you to Nick M for the very slick job on videoing and uploading the presentation.

The Project Management Group recently commissioned a detailed report to advice on the options for heating St George’s Church. For those who’d like the technical detail, the ‘Executive Summary’ and the full report can be read here (PDF).

The Phase Two works are nearing completion and there are lots of great pictures and commentary on our GGG Blog (thank you to Angela B and Kim T for management of the blog).

The GeorgeGoesGreen website is in the process of being updated.
